In August of 2012, Emerald Creek Capital provided a $2,000,000 commercial bridge loan secured by a mixed–use building right next to the historic South Street Seaport in Manhattan, NY. Emerald Creek’s acquisition and construction loan allowed the borrower to renovate the building, creating retail and residential capacity to take advantage of the city’s planned redevelopment of the area. This bridge loan had a time of the essence closing date and closed in just 2 weeks.
