In October of 2011, Emerald Creek Capital provided a $2,200,000 commercial bridge loan going towards the purchase of a 170,000 SF of buildable parcel in Long Island City, NY, across the river from Manhattan. The developer is planning a 230-unit condo on the property. Loan proceeds were used to finance the purchasing of the parcel out of foreclosure.
